The Upper Heyford Heritage Centre offers a unique opportunity to explore a Cold War airbase frozen in time. Visitors can book tours of original ‘bomb proof’ aircraft shelters, the Battle Command Centre, and nuclear bomb store with our Heritage Guides. The Heritage Centre shares the stories of the RAF and USAF, men and women who served at RAF Upper Heyford. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, veteran, or family visitor, there’s something for everyone to discover.
