RAF Upper Heyford Cold War Airbase Tours
Arrival Information
- Meeting Point: RAF Upper Heyford Heritage Centre (Building 103), West Castle Street, Heyford Park, Bicester, OX25 5BX
 - Arrival Time: (SUNDAY TOURS) Admin sign-in is from 9:30 am for a start by 10:00 am. (Any questions please contract us.)
 - Tour Departure: The minibus departs from the Heritage Centre at approximately 10:30 am after a 17-minute introductory history film.
 - Parking: Free parking is available next to the Heritage Centre for the duration of the tour. Vehicle registration details must be provided when booking for site security and parking permits.
 
															
															During the Tour
- Expect some walking over uneven ground, so wear sturdy footwear.
 - Outdoor clothing is recommended — weather conditions can change quickly.
 - In hot weather, please bring water, a sunhat, and sunblock.
 - Toilets and catering facilities are not available during the tour, so please bring your own refreshments. Toilets are available in the Heritage Centre.
 - You may bring a torch if you wish, as some interior areas have limited lighting.
 - Please do not enter any buildings without a guide’s permission.
 - The Flying Field is a non-smoking and non-vaping area.
 
Photography
Photography and use is permitted in most areas, subject to the Photography Permit Guidelines. Restrictions apply to all vehicle storage areas— if in doubt, please ask your guide.

Before your visit, please read the following:
- The Heritage Centre reserves the right to escort from site anyone who does not follow safety instructions or site regulations.
 - You are required to confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these conditions before your visit.
